107 children were newly matched in 2007 with loving adults who felt called to spend and invest time with a child in need of extra support.  We hear wonderful stories every day of the impact this commitment has made not only on the life of a child, but on the lives of their adult Kinship friends as well.  And the impact of this relationship doesn’t end there.  Families are given Hope, neighborhoods build on this Hope and entire communities become stronger and healthier when their children have Hope for the future.

Sadly, there are still 150 children on our capped waiting list and the average wait time remains close to one year. With your financial support we can step up our efforts to find and match quality adult friends with these precious children.  We have recently moved away from governmental funding and this move has given us more latitude in how we run our program.  This also means we need to rely more heavily on supporters in our community, people like you, who are committed to children. We need your help.

One of our generous donors is offering a $50,000 matching gift challenge.
