Kinship of Greater Minneapoli strives to come up with fun, creative and low cost
activities for our participants. Kinship holds one program a month for Kinship Kids,
Mentors, kids on our waiting lists and their families to attend.
Kinship of Greater Minneapolis also holds events that are fundraisers for our programming throughout the year. When
the time approaches for these events, they will be posted on
our Fundraisers page.
Kinship of Greater Minneapolis also looks for low cost or no cost activities throughout
the Twin Cities for our Kinship Friends to participate in with their Kinship Kid. These
opportunities are located in
our Activities Booklet. Or, for information about fun things happening in the Twin Cities, click here.
Kinship of Greater Minneapolis is pleased to be working in collaboration with several Summer Camp Programs in the Midwest. We are so thankful for the generous scholarships that make it possible for our kids to gain these wonderful experiences.

Event Memories...
Kinship's 2008 Summer Event - A Day on the River, sponsored by Kinship's good friend, Jeff Graham, was an amazing day for all. 350 Kinship Kids and their mentors took a two hour cruise down the Mississippi and returned to a wonderful cook-out featuring Jeff's hamburgers and coleslaw!
Thank you Jeff for a great memory! And, thank you Channel 5 for covering our event!

Our January event at the Mall of America was a big hit, or should we say a big splash!
Over 200 Kinship friends enjoyed a day of Underwater Adventures, lunch at the BubbaGump Shrimp Co., and MOA rides. Click here to enjoy photos from the big day. Thank you Jeff Graham for donating a day of fun and a forever memory for the Kinship kids!
The Westminster Town Hall Forum
Kinship of Greater Minneapolis recently partnered with the Westminster Town Hall Forum to cosponsor a talk by Fr. Gregory Boyle of Homeboy Industries in L.A. Fr. Boyle spoke to the need for all of us to consider ourselves Kinsmen. There is no us and them, only us. Let's work together to offer hope and love to kids who are struggling in our communities.
