"Zack" is an amazing 8-year-old boy who lives with his mom and older brother in Minneapolis.
He likes Nintendo, basketball, and to play with his brother. Zack also said that he
"likes to play, have fun, and to give (his) grandma a big hug". He described himself
as "funny, "smart", and that he "has a cat". Zack would like "a nice person who makes
(him) feel better when (he's) sad and someone who loves (him) a lot - like his mom".

Andrea is a 13 year-old who lives with her mom in North Minneapolis. Andrea is very artistic - she enjoys playing the piano and violin and writing. She has won awards at school for her talents, but finds it hard to make friends. She does not get out of the house much, because her mom works in the afternoons. "Timmy" is a friendly 14 year-old who lives with his mom in Coon Rapids.
He is struggling in school and at home and would like to find a Kinship
Friend to spend time with and go places with. He just started high school,
so he is going through some difficult changes. His interests include;
watching wrestling, playing video games, baseball, dirt bikes, basketball,
and outdoor activities like fishing and snowmobiling. He really wants to

"Elizabeth" is a sweet 6 year-old girl who lives in Minneapolis. She
lives with her mom and has very little contact with her dad, who is in prison.
She is in first grade and really likes school where her favorite activity
is "making books", because she likes to read. Elizabeth likes to go
bowling, ice-skating, roller skating, bike riding, and loves to play board
games. When she grows up, she wants to be a pediatrician, because she
"wants to work with little kids". "Elizabeth" would love someone to "play
games with, someone to watch T.V. and go bike riding with (her), and someone

"Portia" is 15 years old and recently moved to Minneapolis from Chicago to live with her aunt and cousins. She is a very outgoing girl and makes new friends easily. Portia is a talented singer and invloved with school choir. She would also like to particpate in Volleyball, Dance, and Cheerleading. Portia likes to read, skate, swim, and watch movies. "Jonathan" is a very kind, respectful 14 year old boy who lives with his mother in Anoka. He has spent time in the correctional system for minor concerns. He is doing well and is trying to turn his life around. Jonathan would like to have a mentor in his life to help him stay on the right path. He likes to spend time outdoors, playing video games, riding his bike, working on model cars, etc. He would like to work in law enforcement one day. "Kirk" lives with his mom and brother in Chanhassen. He is an active 11 year old boy who likes to swim, snowboard, and play computer games. As a 6th grader, Kirk really likes math and is good at it. His favorite animals are dogs, and he gets sad when he reads a book about a dog dying. Kirk enjoys all sports, especially football and basketball. "Dana" is an outgoing 7 year-old girl who lives in Maple Grove. She likes
to spell, play basketball and draw. She describes herself as "smart,
funny and likes phy-ed". When she grows up, Dana wants to be a movie
star like Hillary Duff. Dana is energetic and always willing to give a
smile. She would like her mentor to "be a movie star and make funny
